Michael Norring, Chief Executive Officer

Michael is responsible for the company's overall vision, strategic direction and day-to-day management. Michael has well over a decade of experience in working on the cutting edge on how to deliver technology that align with customer strategies to drive higher levels of revenue. Prior to being a co-founder of SynerG Software, Michael was the Vice President of SOA Services at Attachmate Corporation where he was responsible for all emerging products, as well as defining the Attachmate vision and strategy around Service-Oriented Architecture and the User-Organized Enterprise. Prior to Attachmate, Michael was a management consultant for BearingPoint (KPMG Consulting) where he was responsible for delivering customer centric applications for organizations such as Microsoft, InfonetBT, Mercury Interactive, and BEA. Michael holds a Masters degree in Economics from San Jose State University.

Kalpana Narayanaswamy, VP, Products & Services

Ms. Narayanaswamy is responsible for SynerG’s technology vision, product strategy and customer services. Kalpana has over 10 years experience in designing, implementing, positioning and delivering enterprise software applications. Prior to SynerG she was the Director of Product Development at Attachmate Corporation where she led the development efforts surrounding the SOA and User-Organized Enterprise initiatives. Kalpana has held various technical and management positions and has been instrumental in starting, leading and delivering two brand new enterprise product initiatives from initial inception through release. Kalpana holds a Master's of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Terry Powers, VP, World Wide Sales Operations

Mr. Powers is responsible for worldwide sales operations at SynerG. His responsibilities include developing a repeatable sales process that will drive consistent revenue growth, as well as hiring, developing and managing SynerG’s sales force. Prior to SynerG he created an ideal sales career by establishing sales fundamentals in his first sales job at Xerox corporation followed by several years in executive sales leadership positions at a variety of technology firms from small start ups to Fortune 100 companies including; BMC Software, Bladelogic, Witness Systems (now Verint), PTC (formerly Parametric Technology Corporation) and webMethods. In his spare time Terry enjoys golf, boating, as well as family, church and community activities in the Atlanta area. He completed his MBA at the University of GA’s Terry College of Business.

Dave Bettin, Chief Architect

Dave is serving as the Chief Architect at SynerG responsible for product architecture and direction of SynerG technology. Prior to SynerG, Dave had over a decade of leadership and technical experience both as a industry consultant and a software engineer. In these roles, he successfully architected and implemented service oriented and component oriented systems for both small and fortune 500 enterprises. He is well versed in modeling and service technologies and served as a voting member on the Oasis BPEL technical committee and helped contribute to the early versions of the Mono initiative. Dave has also worked with various groups at Microsoft to contribute current and future product roadmaps. Dave is a Microsoft Certified Professional and a Sun Certified Java Programmer and all around Geek. He enjoyed maintaining a popular blog at http://www.davebettin.com where he wrote about the significance of service orientation and web services for the agile enterprise but now focuses on micro-blogging about all things technology on Twitter.

Kelly Land, President, Novem Select Holdings

Mr. Land is the President of Novem Select Holdings a privately held company focused on investments and guidance to innovative and high-growth companies. Throughout his career, Mr. Land has held key executive roles in sales, marketing, and operations with several high growth companies. He has more than a decade of international experience and invaluable working knowledge of successfully building businesses throughout Asian and European markets. Most recently, he was an investor, partner, and Director with FurnitureOrigins, a China based manufacturer of furniture with worldwide distribution. He has also served as Vice President of Sales for eCredit.com, a technology provider in the credit analytics marketplace. Prior to eCredit, he was an Area Vice President and Managing Director in Asia for PTC (Parametric Technology Corporation), an industry leading software provider of enterprise solutions for product design and product life cycle. Mr. Land holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology, Terre Haute, Indiana. He is a member of the Technology Executive Club of Chicago and has worked as an outside advisor to University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business' New Venture Challenge teams.

Mike Sutton, Former COO, AutoDesk

Mike has worked in the high-tech industry for over 40 years and held various executive positions in Fortune 1000 companies. He recently retired as the Executive Vice President for World Wide Business Operations, for Autodesk and is now actively involved in several start-up software companies. From 1966 to 1982 Mike held a variety of IT management positions in the UK finishing as European MIS manager for AArque systems. In 1982, he started a national chain of PC dealers specializing in Desktop Computer Aided Design systems. After building it into the premier dealer in the UK for CAD in 1986, Mike joined Autodesk Inc. as Sales and Marketing Director for the UK and Benelux. He later became UK Managing Director, and then Senior Director for Northern Europe and in 1993 became Executive Vice President for Europe, Middle East, and Africa, based in Geneva Switzerland. In 1998, Mike moved to the US to assume corporate executive roles with worldwide field operations, responsible for World Wide: Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Distribution, IT and Training and Support.

Tom Norring, Former VP of Asia/Pacific, AutoDesk

Tom has over 35 years of sales and leadership experience. Tom retired from Autodesk in August 2005 where he was the Vice President of Asia/Pacific. Prior to Autodesk, Tom served multiple positions at Hitachi Data Systems including VP WW Sales Open Storage Systems, VP and General Manager Asia/Pacific and Latin America. Tom was serving as the WW Product Line Director for National Advanced Systems, a National Semiconductor subsidiary, when it was acquired by Hitachi Data Systems. Prior to coming to the United States in 1987, Mr. Norring was the CEO of Itel Danmark A/S and served in multiple sales and marketing roles at IBM Denmark.
